**John Schumann & The Vagabond Crew**

**The Corrugated Highway Tour Freo October 30, 2026**

Back in March 1983, Redgum, headed up by John Schumann, recorded one of the most iconic and successful Australian live albums, “Caught in the Act”. Capturing the quintessentially Australian Redgum songs, the album highlighted John Schumann as one of the best frontmen in the country.

Fast forward to 2023, John's band, the Vagabond Crew, persuaded him that they could perform a concert set of those songs called “The Redgum Years”. Sold-out performances across right Australia prove them right and whipped up great demand for another are live record.

In August 2025, John and the boys recorded *Corrugated Highway - The Redgum Years Live *and finally brought The Redgum Years to Perth in November 2025. It was a triumph!

Now John and the Crew are back in WA with one last performance of The Redgum Years. “Call it *The Last Corrugation*,” John said. He

Updated lyrics reflect our comprehensively mad world. Gina, Pauline and Murdoch's playmates won't like it. Too bad.

And the audiences say….

“The musicianship, unity and heart of the Vagabond Crew - supporting Schumann's showmanship and storytelling - made for a magic show.”

“John Schumann, the dry-humoured artist-intellectual with an acerbic tongue, superb musicianship and beautiful vocal harmonies….”

“The audience is hanging off every word. You feel like you are part of something very special…”

One of hip hop's most recognisable names - TALIB KWELI - is set to return to Australia for an unmissable run of headline shows this November. Presented by Teamwrk Touring and MRG Live, these shows will provide Australian audiences the opportunity to get up close and personal with the emcee in some of the country's best rooms, as he brings his stacked catalogue to metro cities along with an impeccable flow.

The ever-gifted Brooklyn MC has long maintained a strong relationship with Australian fans; his last visits to the country sparking some of 2025's most memorable shows, alongside THE ROOTS and as part of his visionary BLACK STAR project with YASIIN BEY.

Internationally known and respected as one of the best in the game, TALIB KWELI has continued to take the art of hip hop and its nuances to countries far and wide.

Over 20 years into his career, TALIB KWELI has shown no signs of slowing down, pouring his creative drive into a number of different creative projects: whether it is through his solo work or more recent collaborations with artists including Madlib, J. Rawls or Yasiin Bey, or through the foundation of his own independent label, Javotti Media.

Advocating for new generations of artists while continuing to evolve his own legacy, TALIB KWELI remains one of the biggest champions of hip hop culture. A fierce activist and multi-hyphenate talent, TALIB KWELI's live presence is unparalleled; his Australian return this November is set to be the perfect primer for a memorable summer ahead.

Sacramento post-hardcore mainstays **Dance Gavin Dance** have announced an Australian headline tour for this November, joined by special guests and fellow post-hardcore veterans **The Fall of Troy** and Australian-led rockers **Galleons**. Tickets go on sale Friday 3 July at 11am local time.

Formed in Sacramento, California in 2005, Dance Gavin Dance - comprised of vocalist/guitarist **Andrew Wells**, co-vocalist **Jon Mess**, guitarist **Will Swan** and drummer **Matthew Mingus** - have long stood as one of alternative music's most distinctive acts. A powerhouse of alternative music; true originals and originators alike, Dance Gavin Dance craft an exhilarating cacophony of sounds and disparate styles that harmonises everything from funk through metalcore to post-hardcore, pop sensibilities colliding with progressive, kaleidoscopic song structures.

With four Billboard 200 Top 15 albums to their name, millions of records sold, billions of streams, and one of the most devoted fanbases in modern heavy music, Dance Gavin Dance are as at home on the world's most famous stages as they are hosting their own culture-defining annual festival, Swanfest. As the esteemed Rock Sound magazine attests:* "There is no band on earth like Dance Gavin Dance."*

Joining the Cali legends on the Australian run are The Fall of Troy, a musical force that has been pushing the boundaries of math rock since their formation in 2002. Hailing from Mukilteo, Washington, the band first made waves with their 2005 album ***Doppelgänger***, which showcased their signature blend of technical proficiency and energy. Over the years, The Fall of Troy has continued to evolve, exploring new territory and challenging the very notions of time and structure. With each new release, they have cemented their place as one of the most innovative and daring bands in the world of math rock.

Completing the bill are Galleons, a band born out of a transcontinental collaboration between Australian and Eastern European musicians with a sound that effortlessly blends post-hardcore and math rock with a multitude of adjacent and disconnected genres. In the last decade Galleons has done their very best to solidify their place in the heavy music scene while collaborating with prominent musicians from iconic post-hardcore and alternative bands. Their captivating energy and love for the genre continues in its attempts to push boundaries and redefine what post-hardcore means to them and others.

Don't miss out on a lineup stacked with post-hardcore icons. Tickets for Dance Gavin Dance's Australian tour go on sale Friday 3 July at 11am local time.

2026 marks the 50th year as a recording artist for legendary Australian musician Ed Kuepper. To celebrate he is taking to the road with The Exploding Universe (of Ed Kuepper) a full band performance featuring the added talents of drummer Mark Dawson, bassist Peter Oxley, keyboard player Alister Spence and brass arranger Eamon Dilworth as they tackle material from right across Ed's illustrious 50-year career.

From the release of The Saints epochal 7" (I'm) Stranded in August 1976, via the genre-defying Laughing Clowns, an ARIA award winning solo career spanning some 30+ stand alone albums / compilations and live recordings, side journeys into The Aints, The Aints! and movie soundtracks plus continued sonic exploration via collaborations with Dirty Three drummer Jim White and jazznerds Asteroid Ekosystem, to a recent world tour back where is all began with The Saints '73-'78; Ed Kuepper has forged, flourished and conquered the recorded medium many times over.

“For me Ed is a prime mover, a musician who has transformed music numerous times over, always swimming upstream, always seeking new terrain, always creating on his own terms. It's a vast, singular body of work, no one else could have produced it. I get the same pleasure listening to Ed as I do listening to Neil Young or John Martyn or Patti Smith or Michael Rother.” - Steve Cross / Remote Control records

Celebrating DAVID BOWIE

While Fischer-Z have never previously toured Australia, their music has enjoyed genuine chart success here. Fischer-Z's breakthrough global hit “So Long” (1980) peaked at #15 on the Kent Music Report (pre-ARIA era) and earned the band significant national airplay. Coupled with the charting success of the later single “The Perfect Day” (1987 - #12 on the ARIA Charts), these achievements gave Fischer-Z a strong foothold with Australian audiences and laid the foundations for a loyal fan base. Australia continues to rank as Fischer-Z's fourth biggest market for Spotify streaming.

Fischer-Z's story is steeped in the unconventional. John Watts first entered the pop music world in the 1970s, after studying clinical psychology — working in an experimental psychiatric facility that didn't use drugs or restraints. “I'd be doing a shift there from 8–4pm then get in a van to do a gig in Derby,” John Watts recalls. “I'd literally dealt with raging psychos all day, so I wasn't afraid of the punk crowds. You go out and play in Wolverhampton ... some snotty little 17- year-olds who threaten to put a cigarette out on your leg and you think, 'Well, come on then!'”

In 1976, Watts teamed up with synth player Steve Skolnik at Brunel University to form Fischer-Z. Their reputation for political songwriting, and frenetic energy earned them a recording deal with United Artists in 1978, putting them in the company of peers like The Stranglers and Buzzcocks.

Their debut album Word Salad (1979) made waves in the burgeoning post-punk world. Fischer-Z's biggest global chart hit “So Long” (1980) became one of the first music videos ever aired on MTV, propelling Fischer-Z onto the world stage. Their third album, Red Skies Over Paradise (1981), featured the tracks “Marliese” and “Berlin,” and remains one of their most commercially successful efforts.

Across Fischer-Z's five-decade career, they have released more than 23 albums and sold over two million records. They've played more than 3,000 concerts across Europe, North America, and beyond. Collaborators have included Peter Gabriel, Steve Cropper and the Brass Section of Dexy's Midnight Runners. Fischer -Z have shared stages with giants like James Brown (167,000-strong crowd in East Berlin), toured with The Police and Dire Straits, and appeared alongside Bob Marley on his final European festival tour.

In recent years, Watts has expanded his creative practice beyond music into multimedia art, poetry and theatre, while carrying forward a reputation for warmth, humanity and restless curiosity. His 2025 project PUNKT! fuses his talents in music, words and visual art into a singular vision.

2026 is a watershed — 50 years since Fischer-Z's founding in 1976. “I can't believe it's already been 50 years,” says John. “It's been a hell of a journey, full of ups and downs but I can't wait to celebrate with everyone and I'm up for it! Here's to many more years of new music, shows and art.”

To mark the milestone, Fischer-Z will embark on an extensive world tour in Spring and Autumn 2026, visiting Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Portugal, the UK — and for the first time ever — Australia.

At the same time, the band will release a celebratory album titled 50/50. The LP is split: 5 brand new songs (3 earmarked as singles) and 5 re-imagined versions of Watts' favourites from the first five albums.

The full Nashville experience, packed into one hell of a night.
Tipsy Rodeo is bringing the spirit of Nashville down under, live country music, line dancing, cold drinks and a room full of people ready to cut loose.
A live band takes over the night, ripping through the country songs everybody knows and loves. The new hits. The classics. The heartbreak songs. The drinking songs. The ones you can't help but sing at the top of your lungs.
Morgan Wallen into Shania Twain.
Luke Combs into a boot-stomping throwback.
Zach Bryan into a hands-in-the-air singalong.
Then there's the dance floor.
Boots hit the floor and the whole room gets moving. Whether you know every step or you're learning as you go, line dancing is part of the night, jump in, follow along and don't worry about getting it perfect.
No sitting on the sidelines. No standing around watching the band.
You're singing. You're dancing. You're meeting new friends. You're staying for one more song.
Live country music. Line dancing. Nashville hits all night long.
This is TIPSY RODEO.
The Nashville experience is coming to Australia.

THE PHARCYDE (USA)

Born in South Central Los Angeles, **The Pharcyde** stand alongside A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, and Gang Starr as one of the defining groups of hip-hop's Golden Era.

Originally formed in 1989, The Pharcyde released their debut album, *Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde*, in 1992. The record delivered a string of tracks that have since become '90s hip-hop classics, including **“Passin' Me By,” “Ya Mama,” “Soul Flower,” “Otha Fish”** and more.

Their follow-up, *Labcabincalifornia*, arrived in 1996, featuring production from **Jay Dee (J Dilla), Diamond D** and **M-Walk**. The album spawned two iconic singles, **“Runnin'”** and **“Drop,”** with the latter accompanied by its now-legendary video directed by **Spike Jonze**.

With their off-kilter production, sharp lyricism and unmistakable South Central sensibility, The Pharcyde have cemented their place among the godfathers of alternative hip-hop.

This November, they bring the sound of one of hip-hop's most influential eras to **Walyalup.**

Formed in 1990 by Croydon natives **Bob Stanley** and **Pete Wiggs**, Saint Etienne struck gold from the outset with their debut single, a transformative cover of **Neil Young's 'Only Love Can Break Your Heart'**, which quickly became a club anthem. The arrival of vocalist **Sarah Cracknell** in 1991 completed the definitive lineup, her debut on **'Nothing Can Stop Us' **and the Mercury Prize‑nominated album ***Foxbase Alpha*** cementing the group's place in UK pop history.

Their follow‑up album ***So Tough*** soared into the UK Top 10, leading to a landmark moment in 1994 when Saint Etienne became **t**he first band ever broadcast live from **Glastonbury Festival.**

Now, after decades of innovation, reinvention and irresistible pop craftsmanship, Saint Etienne prepare to say goodbye to Australian and New Zealand audiences.

**A final bow from one of Britain's most cherished groups which is not to be missed.**
