STEVE TURNER AND MORE OF HIS BAD IDEAS

Steve Turner is no stranger to fans of Grunge music.

He was the guitarist of seminal Seattle band Green River but best known as a

founding member of Grunge heavyweights Mudhoney who exploded onto the scene

in 1988 pre-dating Nirvana and the genre itself.

As Mudhoney returns to Australia this October, Steve uses the band’s only day off to

play a side show of his solo material.

Miles away from the distorted-fuzz drenched sound of his beloved Mudhoney, Steve

Turner and MORE of his Bad Ideas is more in line with the No Depression

movement of the 1990’s which provided a platform for bands like Wilco, Son Volt and

Whiskeytown earlier pioneered by the likes of Gram Parsons and the Flying Burrito

Brothers.
