**Celebrated songwriter Kristin Hersh will return to Australia this November for a run of intimate headline shows in support of her forthcoming new album Sugar On Blackstone, out 18 September via Fire Records.**

Renowned for her fiercely emotional performances and uncompromising songwriting, Hersh’s Australian dates will see her bring songs from Sugar On Blackstone to audiences across the country alongside highlights from her extensive catalogue.

Following on from 2023’s Clear Pond Road, Sugar On Blackstone is a darker yet delicately rendered collection exploring life and death, memory, survival and human connection. Deeply personal and emotionally expansive, the album reflects on the lasting bonds between musicians, family and friends, and the way certain sounds and places can suddenly bring someone vividly back into focus.

New single ‘Dark-Eyed Junco’ offers another striking glimpse into the album, pairing lucid melodies with deeply autobiographical storytelling. Recorded at Stable Sound Studios, the album features longtime collaborators Rob Ahlers (50FOOTWAVE) on drums and Pete Harvey (Throwing Muses) on cello.

Long celebrated as one of alternative music’s most singular voices, Hersh continues to deliver performances that are both intensely intimate and disarmingly powerful - a rare opportunity to experience one of modern music’s most influential songwriters up close.

The quiet achiever

The record holder

The cult favourite

The #1 Dad

#1 Dads is the solo project of Tom Iansek, a valuable, proudly independent fixture of the Australian music scene for over two decades as one half of the multi-award-winning Big Scary and No Mono, and an in-demand producer (Maple Glider, Kate Miller-Heidke, The Paper Kites, Ruby Gill, Lisa Mitchell, and more).

Animated by intimate, understated arrangements and lyrical honesty, #1 Dads is a perfect introduction to Iansek’s sonic authenticity and rich, rewarding music. His gentle melodies and less-is-more production make for homely yet sophisticated pop songs that have seen the Australian-born, London-based artist become an unassuming cult favourite, beloved with fans and critics alike.

Debuting as #1 Dads with 2011’s Man of Leisure, Iansek further showcased his sincere, quietly innovative songcraft with 2014’s ARIA-nominated About Face and 2020’s Golden Repair. Born of a period of dramatic upheaval, Every Little Fire is the Melbourne-bred, London-based artist’s most deeply personal record.

Every Little Fire, the fourth #1 Dads album, due October 16 via Pieater.

PRE-SAVE EVERY LITTLE FIRE HERE. https://1dads.lnk.to/EveryLittleFire

The record arrives six years after 2020's Golden Repair and follows a period of profound personal upheaval - a transatlantic relocation, a growing family, the particular vertigo of dismantling one life and building another from scratch. "It was not an easy thing to do," Iansek says. "It has been an insane, wonderful, chaotic, intense and joyful period of my life." Every Little Fire, in both title and execution, takes that turbulence seriously.

Produced and mixed by Iansek himself, in small rooms, including a DIY bedroom studio, Every Little Fire reflects the conditions of its making. Imperfections were left in. Longer, unvarnished takes. Tempo fluctuations. Breaths. The result is an album that sounds handmade in the best sense: intimate without being precious, and honest without being confessional for its own sake.

#1 Dads - Solo Dad Mode

Tarntanya/Adelaide based "post-pub-rock" outfit ***Ricky Albeck & the Belair Line Band*** are having a fun year. Ricky’s recently announced new album *Expensive Music *will be released on November 6th via Bedroom Suck Records and on November 22nd, Ricky & the Band will join us at Young Street Tavern as part of their album launch tour.

The first 2 singles *“Playing Pool & Drinking All Night”* & *“Spend the Night”* feature both blisteringly loud feeding-back country rock guitars (think Drive-By Truckers, Neil Young) & on *Playing Pool* and heartbreakingly tender lyrics & floating violin & slide guitar on *Spend the Night*.

Ricky will be joined by the full Belair Line Band made up of Ella Ion, Alex Dearman, Tom Spall, Harry Freeman & Jackson Wright for their 15+ date Australian tour this summer as well as some incredible TBA special guests. Tickets on sale now.

**Sacred Cowboys**, reputedly the "hottest musical group in the country" - or - just an

infamous band of opportunists in league with the GG?

Sacred Cowboys shot to national notoriety in 1982 as a fun nihilistic jolt to the senses on

national pop show Countdown. Their albums have been released in Europe and Australia

ever since. Founding members Garry Gray and Mark Ferrie recruited Tim Deane, Anthony

Paine and Damien FitzGerald last year and created *'In the Manifesto' *released on Beast

Records France and Torn & Frayed Australia in early 2026. They have just returned from

Europe.

Garry Gray and the Sacred Cowboys delivered a powerhouse performance at the Binic Folks

Blues Festival (held July 2026, in Binic-Étables-sur-Mer, France), commanding the *Plage de la*

*Banche* stage with raw intensity. Festival organizers and attendees hailed the Australian

band's set as a magnificent, high-energy "claque d'amour" (a loving slap to the senses),

echoing the gritty, soulful swagger that Beast Records champions.

**"The group delivered trademark 80s-rooted punk-blues energy that felt as vital and sharp**

**as ever by the sea. But you also get that these guys transcend where they started and**

**where they have been and via their new album 'In the Manifesto' and take us with them**

**today and tomorrow on their wild musical ride."**

Whether in the studio or live Sacred Cowboys performances are studded with highlights!

Catch them live on their return to Australia at Young St Tavern in Frankston.

***HARDLINE MEDIA proudly presents SUPERPUSSY 2.***

The triumphant return of THE SUPERSUCKERS & NASHVILLE PUSSY, but Australia, it just got bigger, it's HAMMERTIME - that's right, direct from Kentucky, USA, we bring you NINE POUND HAMMER for their first time ever Down Under. Three of the greatest American Rock N Roll / Punk / Cowpunk bands y'all ever did see… this is gonna be one Helluva HoeDown Under, again!!

THE SUPERSUCKERS + NASHVILLE PUSSY + NINE POUND HAMMER are ready to rip Australia a new one in late February 2027. This time with some added stops. Get ready Gold Coast, Geelong and Frankston, they're comin' your way this time round.

THE SUPERSUCKERS will open the gates in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Melbourne, with NASHVILLE PUSSY headlining these shows. Then in Sydney, Adelaide, Geelong and Frankston, NASHVILLE PUSSY will open the shows, while THE SUPERSUCKERS take the bull by the horns!!!

THE SUPERSUCKERS are an American rock band, formed in 1988, whose music ranges from Alternative Rock to Country Rock to Cowpunk. Described as "the bastard sons of Foghat, AC/DC, and ZZ Top after being weaned on punk rock, unafraid of massive guitar riffs, outsized personalities, or pledging allegiance to sex, weed, and Satan with a wink and a nudge” - AllMusic

Having had a long and colourful career with some Alt Hit singles along the way like "Born With A Tail" which received heavy airplay in Australia, THE SUPERSUCKERS return to Australia after the initial SUPERPUSSY tour couple years back. These legends of Cowpunk have a huge following here in Australia, and these shows are sure to pack out.

After nearly four decades of unapologetic rock n’ roll, the Supersuckers return with their twelfth studio album, *"Liquor, Women, Drugs & Killing"*, out now via Hardcharger Records. Eddie, Marty and Chris will see you all soon!!

New Supersuckers - *Maybe I'm Just Messin' With You *> www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZwkWsEzyc0

This is Hardline Media's third run with NASHVILLE PUSSY, of course with the *Superpussy* tour a couple years back, and with their sold out shows on their 2022 Aussie tour, including being the last band EVER to play the iconic Frankies in Sydney - which had well over 5000 people lining the streets of Sydney's CBD attempting to get into the club to witness the closing of the venue and Nashville Pussy!!! Twas a raucous Rock n Roll night - one for the history books.

Raised on a diet of Marshall stacks, Gibson Guitars, Jack Daniels and weed, NASHVILLE PUSSY is the bastard offspring of foul-mouthed, demented, hillbilly, ice-cream man BLAINE CARTWRIGHT and tractor driving, nude art school model and guitar prodigy RUYTER SUYS. Born deep in the Baptist Bible Belt of Kentucky, USA – BLAINE CARTWRIGHT used the sounds of The Ramones and The New York Dolls to maintain sanity. Meanwhile in Vancouver, Canada, 8 year old, hippie kid, Ruyter Suys picked up her father’s guitar and started playing along with Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix. “We got married on a dare, after dropping acid… Nashville Pussy is our baby,” says Suys.

And let's not forget the powerhouse rhythm section of amazing Bonnie Buitrago on Bass, and the dude that is Dusty Watson on drums. Note - Metal fans check who played drums on Lita Ford's "*Out For Blood*" - best bring that to the Meet and Greet, and maybe some Sonics stuff too for all you Skegs out there!!!

“If there’s been a better band than Nashville Pussy to open for Motörhead, I’ve never heard them” – LemmySo, take it from The Man Australia… DON’T MISS OUT ON NASHVILLE PUSSY (appropriately) DOWN UNDER!
Big, loud and absolutely unapologetic. Give It Up for Nashville Pussy's new release, "10 Inches Of Pussy", setting out to conquer the world and raise the bar — 10 inches at a time!

Last but not least, direct from Kentucky USA , its Hammertime - NINE POUND HAMMER. One of the true originators of the Cow-Punk genre, the Hammers are heading down under for the first time. Nine Pound Hammer was one of the first rural hardcore punk bands to substantially incorporate rural blue collar motifs into the minimalistic hardcore sound. With 12 albums under their belt, and break ups over the years (most notably in 1997 when Blaine after the break up went on to form Nashville Pussy) the band has stood the test of time as one of the South's finest!!! With landmark albums *"Smokin' Taters" *and *"Hayseed Timebomb" *to later releases such as *"When The Shit Goes Down"*. You cannot miss this band, they are in firing form!!!

***LOVE POLICE PRESENT***

**THE SCHIZOPHONICS (USA)**

Exploding out of San Diego like a turbocharged, raw force of true blue rock ’n’ roll chaos, people, prepare yourselves for the return of **The Schizophonics.**

The power trio has made its name with electrifying live shows that combine the fuzz-soaked freakout of proto-punk pioneers like The Stooges and MC5 with the sweat and swagger of James Brown and Little Richard.

With Lety Beers’ distinctive R&B-inspired drumming and Sarah Linton’s Sabbath-infused bass lines providing the rock-solid foundation for frontman Pat Beers’ wild dancing and gravity-defying one-handed guitar playing, the Schizos unleash a fuzz-soaked, funk-fuelled sonic attack built on pounding rhythms and feral energy that’s been honed to a razor edge after years of touring. Electrifying good times!
