Forget nostalgia. Electric Safari 2026 isn’t about preserving the past under museum glass - it’s about plugging it back into the mains and seeing what lights up. This October, the Electric Pandas tear up Australia’s east coast with songs from the forthcoming album A Love Electric, where melody collides with voltage and every chorus feels like it’s outrunning tomorrow. The classics are back too, because great songs never age. And then there’s Big Girls, detonated into a full-blown EDM fever dream by Brian Canham of Pseudo Echo. No safety net. No cruise control. Just beautiful noise, bright lights and the delicious possibility that anything could happen.

Electric Pandas - Electric Safari 2026

After unleashing the powerful ARIA-charting ‘Necko II’ to a sold-out Metro Social in their hometown of Sydney, Necko bring their theatrical blues-drenched rock to Vinnies Dive Bar.

The trio moves from a whisper to a roar with Alek Necko’s delicate falsetto and vintage wail over snarling guitar work, Reno Torrisi’s explosive drumming and Alex Damon’s dextrous bass and keys. The versatility can be heard on the new EP: an echo down the hall from the ‘70s that travels from the rush of newfound desire to the darkness of heartbreak, bookending a journey of medieval themes. GRAMMY winners Adrian Bushby (Foo Fighters, Muse) and Al Sutton (Greta Van Fleet) combine their retro analogue approaches on production and mixing respectively to spotlight the rawness of each member’s performance across the six tracks, delivering a pristine and classic-sounding record that the band embellishes live with extended solos in the spirit of their arena rock influences.

Expect an immersive performance that captures the grandeur of one of Australia’s most exciting emerging rock acts.

SUPPORTED BY THE PHOSPHENES AND SWIVELHEAD.

Negative Approach. Yep, that one. Formed back in 81 and thought to be gone soon after, NA left us a short but permanent set of songs that still stand strong above the majority to this day.

Reformed again only in 06, they pummelled their way right back through with even more fury than round 1. No cash grab reunion, no bullshit, just vital hardcore for the ages here in full force. Be there or remain irrelevant.

TEENS

Beloved noisy post-punks TEENS continue to build on the momentum they've gained over the last two years with the announcement of a 12-date East Coast tour in support of their second album, Negative Energy, landing at Vinnies Dive on Thursday 19th November, 2026 joined by locals acts Johnny & the C-Sections and Zenith.

TEENS is a post-punk trio based in Nipaluna/Hobart.Together, Shawn Arnold, Alex Davern and Jono Tate create music that is abrasive, dynamic, and intensely captivating. TEENS - Negative Energy Australian Tour

Flying in from the Shizuoka Prefecture of Japan - NECROSPECTIVE! A fast, pummelling & brutal death/goregrind band with an impressive array of demos, splits & EPs under its belt, all of which are nothing short of guttural layered decadence that will enrapture those who thirst for the battering intensity you'll find with Mortician, Putrid Pile & Insect Warfare. This is the band's debut foray on Australian soil and will be nothing short of a devastating performance.

Joining them will be Brisbane's very own AWFUL NOISE - callous and unrelenting deathgrind since 2017! Fresh off their Japanese tour, AN are a grinding treat for fans of Napalm Death & Pig Destroyer with new material in the recording process. All previously released material will not hold a candle to this impending sonic assault of monolithic proportions.

LEAKER are a Brisbane 4-piece formed in 2023, Their debut full length "HAPPY HOUR" dropped last year and has been described as "music to put nails in your head to". Think if KEN Mode were filtered through a Deathspell Omega funnel, or if The Jesus Lizard had come after the inception of Deadguy, all with the bleak and sarcastic Australian slice of The Mark Of Cain and The Birthday Party.

TANAH MERAH will be this night's designated opener. A young, upcoming hardcore band that shows no mercy nor takes any prisoners. Expect nothing but pure youth crew hardcore aggression in the vein of Ceremony & Have Heart.
