From their humble beginnings at a Frankston skate park back the late ‘90s, 28 Days quickly carved out their own place in Australian music. Upstyledown crashed in at #1 on the ARIA charts in 2000, and you can still see (and feel) those epic mosh pits seething and bouncing as one to Rip It Up, Say What?, and Sucker - songs that became synonymous with the Aussie soundtrack of the new millennium and forever remain embedded in Australian punk DNA.

No other band defined that Big Day Out, Homebake, and Channel V era like 28 Days.

Three decades on, the guys still bringing the same energy that brought the noise in the first place.

This tour isn’t about nostalgia for the sake of it. It’s a celebration of a band that has stood the test of time in a country that rarely allows it.

Seminal Seattle four-piece Mudhoney return to Australia this October to play a bunch of club shows and headline 4ZZZ FM’s “Zed 51” Festival. The grunge pioneers also add a handful of New Zealand dates for the first time in over a decade.

Since forming in 1988, Mudhoney quickly became the flagship act for legendary independent label Sub Pop and to date has released over 25 official primary releases spanning over three decades.

Their provocative debut single ‘Touch Me I’m Sick’ and 1992 hit ‘Suck You Dry’ cemented them as pioneers of the late 80’s early 90’s grunge explosion, with their sound an instrumental foundation of the era. In 2023 they released their 11th studio album ‘Plastic Eternity’ showing no signs of slowing down.

Spiderbait - Ivy & The Big Apples 30th Anniversary show

Beloved Ballarat outfit Epicure have announced their long-awaited return, unveiling a

brand new national tour alongside details of their forthcoming studio album Evenings In

Honduras - their first full-length release in almost twenty years.

From 1996–2010, Epicure carved out a singular place in Australian music, releasing four

acclaimed studio albums, selling out headline shows nationwide, and touring alongside

artists including Powderfinger, Silverchair, John Butler Trio, Gomez, Live and Train. A

staple of the Australian festival circuit throughout the early 2000s, the band’s

breakthrough album The Goodbye Girl became a defining release of the era, producing

three entries in the Triple J Hottest 100 across 2003 and 2004.

Their signature anthem Armies Against Me reached the ARIA Top 100 Singles Chart

and landed at #21 in the 2003 Hottest 100 countdown, while 2005 single Tightrope

Walker added a fourth entry to the band’s Hottest 100 legacy.

After quietly disbanding in 2010 following a farewell national tour, Epicure briefly reunited

in 2015 for two sold out Victorian performances. Now, more than a decade later, the

band return with renewed purpose and an entirely new body of work.

The first taste of the new era arrived with Is There Any Way Out Now? Driven by

thunderous guitars, urgent rhythms and a haunting refrain, the single captures the

emotional weight and intensity that made Epicure one of Australia’s most distinctive rock

bands. The song was immediately added to high rotation on Double J radio.

The forthcoming album Evenings In Honduras will be released August 21, 2026.
