**ROWENA WISE - Bad Things Feel Good* Album Launch (Band show)**

*Presented by Double J, Beloved Records & Remote Control Records:*

This October and November, **Rowena Wise** takes her full band on the road for 10+ dates across Australia to support her sophomore album, *Bad Things Feel Good**. The record is a tender, point-blank look at the pain of transformation and what it means to be flesh and blood — from Melbourne to Brisbane, Sydney to Hobart and beyond.

Written over two years of near-constant touring and recorded live over three days at The Ratshack in Collingwood with producer Rob Muinos (Julia Jacklin, Didirri), the album traces heartbreak, estrangement, and the knottier growing pains of adulthood through candid poetic lyricism and a raw live production. The songs hold space rather than demand attention, and live, they hit even harder.

Since debuting in 2018, she has amassed over 10 million streams, earned airplay across **triple j**, **Double j** and **Unearthed**, and toured extensively across Australia, the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada, supporting artists including **Holy Holy, Ball Park Music, Bernard Fanning** and **Paul** **Dempsey**. Her 2024 debut album, *Senseless Acts of Beauty*, was praised by **CLASH Magazine** as “*carefully etched indie folk*” and shortlisted for the **Australian Music Prize**. Her highly anticipated sophomore album, *Bad Things Feel Good**, a tender, point-blank meditation on transformation, is out August 7, 2026 via Beloved Records.

**kisses **has been quietly building a world. Softly-sung memories and dreams float through a landscape of meandering guitars, grungy violin, and layered vocal harmonies, grounded in a spirited rhythm section with a deep groove at its core. Their captivating live show sees songs taking new life in every room and are never the same twice.

Naarm/Melbourne-based five-piece kisses return to Sydney and the South Coast for a three-show spring fling. Much-loved members of the Australian alternative underground, the quintet released their second album, *You Are in My Dreams*, in February on Bedroom Suck Records. Early 2026 saw the band play to an intimate crowd crammed into Lazy Thinking in Dulwich Hill, and again a few months later delivering a special performance at Phoenix Central Park in May.

kisses' music is an invitation to revel in all of life's beauty and brokenness, to look up and feel together the steady rhythms of love, of loss, and love again.

“*You Are In My Dreams* finds these core components recombined in subtly more grown-up fashion, with added newer ingredients… the ten gathered pieces cast broader, deeper and occasionally darker spells.” - Freq (UK)

***KATY STEELE
THIS IS ME, UNDRESSED**
*With Lenka*

Following a successful national run of **UNDRESSED** shows earlier this year and the release of her limited-edition *Undressed* album, Katy Steele is taking her intimate live experience to regional Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales.

Expect a raw, unfiltered performance with Katy stripped bare on stage. In an intimate duo setting, the songs are returned to their purest form- voice, piano, guitar and nothing to hide behind. Known for the soaring anthems of Little Birdy and the richly layered production of her solo work, Katy returns to where every song begins, revealing the heart of the music in its purest form.

The **UNDRESSED** album is a conscious unravelling of everything Katy has released before, featuring stripped-back interpretations of songs from her solo catalogue, beloved Little Birdy favourites, and timeless covers including Patti Smith's Because The Night, Lou Reed's Perfect Day, and Michael Jackson's Ben.

Honest, immersive and moving,** THIS IS ME, UNDRESSED** invites audiences into a rare live experience where every lyric, every story and every note takes centre stage.

Raw. Honest. Unfiltered

The World Is Against You (NZ)

**Youth Group** are celebrating 20 years of #1 single *'Forever Young'* and 21 years since the release of their album *Skeleton Jar*.

Toby Martin reflects on the time; "Skeleton Jar changed our lives very quickly. We were suddenly touring the US and UK, playing with Death Cab, and at Reading and Leeds and Coachella. It was an amazing adventure. And then the OC commissioned us to do a cover of Forever Young. We were reluctant at first, but then thought we could put our own spin on it. A bit of our melancholy sparkle. We never predicted it would even be a single, let alone do as well as it did. It became a song that really resonanted with people - played at graduations, and often at funerals too. Sometimes it felt like it wasn't our song anymore, but had become something for others. We are not going to play Forever Young twelve times on this tour, but will probably play it once. Plus we will play Skeleton Jar tracks, and some other favourites."
