The Chain bring two colossal rock acts to life in one unmissable night at The Rosemount, one of Perth's most iconic live music venues.

Headlining is The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Experience - a powerful, emotionally charged tribute to one of the greatest rock bands of all time. From the mystical energy of Stevie Nicks’ hits “Gypsy” and “Dreams,” to Christine McVie’s pop grooves with “You Make Lovin’ Fun,” and the tension and rawness of Lindsay Buckingham’s anthem “Go Your Own Way”.

The Chain deliver a high energy celebration of Fleetwood Mac at their best. Opening the night is The Very Best of the Eagles - a hit-packed set of California rock classics.

With four lead vocalists, The Chain nail the Eagles’ signature crisp harmonies and rock ‘n’ roll precision, bringing alive a string of singalong hits like “Take It Easy,” “Heartache Tonight,” and all-time rock classic “Hotel California”.

If you love live music played loud, played well and delivered with plenty of energy with the band having as much fun as the crowd, you'll feel right at home.

This is the kind of show where strangers end up singing together by the end of the night. “We had the best time! You guys were amazing thank you!” Jody

sugarwife turn their attention to the darker side of our always-online world on ‘The Fog’, a brooding new single arriving Friday 30 October. Blending urgent indie rock with hazy textures and layered vocals, the track explores how constant digital stimulation can quietly disconnect us from ourselves, our surroundings and the lives we're supposed to be living.

Described by RTRFM as “sun and thunder indie rock”, sugarwife have spent years carving out a sound that balances shimmering guitars with raw emotional honesty. Drawing from the restless energy of Fontaines D.C., the atmospheric weight of Radiohead and Slowdive, and the lyrical vulnerability of Jeff Buckley and The Go-Betweens, the six-piece navigate the space between introspection and intensity with a distinctly human touch.

At the heart of The Fog is an unsettling observation about modern life: we're constantly reaching for stimulation, often without questioning what it's doing to us.

“It's about the state of the Western world we've found ourselves in, living off the constant stimulation we find down at the end of our arms,” explains songwriter Damien Goerke. “It was built to slip perfectly into our nervous systems and souls without us noticing, only to find out we've been locked out of our own homes.”

The track's journey to completion was almost as disorienting as its subject matter. After the rest of the band had recorded their parts, Goerke made the decision to completely rework his original lyrics and melody, forcing him to write around an arrangement that already existed. The result was an exercise in reverse songwriting, pushing him to find a new way into a song whose message he'd understood long before he found the right words to express it.

Inspired in part by Fontaines D.C.'s ability to deliver urgency and eloquence without becoming overtly preachy, Goerke also envisioned softer voices singing alongside his own. Guest backing vocals from Stacey Ann and Veronica Zurzolo (Dolce Blue) became a crucial part of bringing that vision to life, adding another layer to the song's uneasy atmosphere. Even the mixing process brought unexpected changes, with last-minute accidents becoming defining elements of the finished recording.

Written by Goerke and performed by sugarwife, ‘The Fog’ was recorded by Ryan K Brennan and Goerke, with Goerke handling production, mixing, and mastering. The single follows the band's recent release ‘Getting Closer’, which reached #3 on the AMRAP Indie / Alternative Airplay Charts, marking a promising chapter for a band that's remained together since 2017.

Following their 2022 debut album ‘Ablations’, sugarwife have spent the intervening years writing and completing their sophomore record. The Fog offers another glimpse into the evolving sound and perspective of the band, one that finds beauty in the uncomfortable, and connection in a world increasingly designed to distract us.

sugarwife will celebrate the release with a hometown show at Four5Nine Bar (North Perth) on 7 November with Oosterbanger and more TBA.

Ultimately, the recital represents an opportunity for Cooper to explore and define his own creative voice, while using the performance as a foundation for what comes next in his development as an artist.

8:10PM - “This Is Me” is a little snapshot of Kelsey as an artist, showcasing the music she loves and the kind of performer she is. With a love for big energy, good vibes, and songs that make you want to sing along, Kelsey believes in being unapologetically herself on and off stage. She aims to leave you with a smile, sore dancing feet and a great song stuck in your head!

9:15PM - Erin Whitehead is a singer/songwriter based in Perth, Western Australia and credits her love of music and performing to her parents, who surrounded her with the music of Crowded House, Bic Runga, Lily Allen and Missy Higgins, amongst others from a young age. She describes her sound as Contemporary, indie pop and jazz – influenced pop, citing performers like Amy Winehouse, Fiona Apple and Lana Del Ray as vocal and songwriting influences. Erin is known for her captivating vocal tone and expressive lyricism. And with over a decade of performance experience, she looks forward to continuing to perform and write music, collaborating with other musicians wherever she may go and will continue to build a career doing what she loves.

"Love the energy and musicianship (my god that rhythm section!)"
Perth Blues Club, 2024

“A 45 minute set of high octane Country rock originals and the occasional cherry picked cover thrown in. It was music that got you thumping and bumping… Michael’s infectious energy drove the set flying on top of some damn fine rock country”
Gidgestock Music Festival, 2024

“Michael’s stage presence is unmistakable: grounded, generous, and electrifying. He doesn’t just perform to an audience — he performs with them. Every grin, every stomp, every guitar lick feels like an invitation. You’re not an observer. You’re part of the moment.”
BTN, Gig Review 2025

Joining Michael on the night are WA artists Jackoranda, Forget Me Not and Livid Lillith for a stacked lineup of great tunes.

These here are crazy times. But Boom Crash Opera are one band you can rely upon.

The producer of their debut album told them: “The most important thing a group can do is stay together. Keep it together and you can do anything you want.”

Boom Crash Opera took those words to heart, proudly becoming one of Australia’s most-loved bands, with 13 Top 50 singles and five Top 50 albums.

As founding member Peter Farnan says, “We sounded like our name.” It’s an intoxicating mix of indie pop and stadium rock, with unforgettable hits such as

‘Great Wall’, ‘Hands Up In The Air’, ‘City Flat’, ‘Onion Skin’ ‘Get Out Of The House’, ‘The Best Thing’ and ‘Dancing In The Storm’.

Nearly four decades after the band began, the start of ‘Onion Skin’ remains an irresistible rallying cry:

Keep it in! Cut it out! Kick it out!
