**BODY ELECTRIC DANCE**** PRESENTS:** **SPOOKY**
A night of dance noir
BOO!
CALL OUT TO THE AUDIENCE!
**DRESS TO IMPRESS IN YOUR HALLOWEEN BEST!**

ABOUT BODY ELECTRIC
The Body Electric Dancers are a dance troupe made up of everyday folk who twice a year bedazzle themselves in unthinkable volumes of glitter and sequins, and strut their stuff on stage in front of crowds of screaming fans. Founded by local dance teacher and choreographer Jade Duffy, Body Electric began just over 19 years ago and has grown from humble beginnings into a legendary Melbourne institution.

Originally comprising just a handful of dancers, it now includes hundreds of people from across Melbourne who head to Body Electric's Collingwood studio each week to learn high-energy choreography set to iconic bangers. Their performances are high-camp spectacles; each of the 10 troupes brings its own distinctive creation to the stage. The dancers make their own costumes, and the bold, often outrageous ensembles have become one of the shows' biggest attractions.

So who are these secret dancing divas? Well, they're everyone. They come from all walks of life, across professions, ages and backgrounds.

This is Body Electric.

**WINDWAKER
'smile, you're on camera' Australian Tour 2026**
Australia's genre-bending **Windwaker** are thrilled to announce their 'smile, you're on camera' Australian headline tour for October/November where they'll be joined by special guests and first time visitors **The Pretty Wild** (US), as well as **RinRin** and **DREGG**.

*"We are so excited to bring our new album to life on stages all around Australia," *says Windwaker vocalist **Liam Guinane**. *"We've poured so much into this record, and we can't wait to play these songs live for the very first time. We're also so stoked to be bringing out The Pretty Wild for their Australian debut, along with a couple of our favourite Aussie artists. We hope to see you all there."*

The tour will begin just a week after the release of *smile, you're on camera*, a record that stands as the soundtrack to Windwaker's journey since ***HYPERVIOLENCE***. Described as their most honest release yet, *smile, you're on camera* sees Windwaker channel the challenges and triumphs of the past few years.

The band teased this new chapter with *“****victory lap****”* and* “****click****” *(with RinRin), heightening anticipation for what's to come. Co-written in Los Angeles with the band and **Daniel Braunstein** (Spiritbox, Dayseeker), new single *“closer” *opens with strobe-flashes of neon synths and a hypnotic drumbeat, giving way to open-hearted melodies. The crunch of power chords ignites a chantable chorus, with a crushing breakdown - in true Windwaker style - that caps it all off. Watch the video here.

Joining Windwaker on their Australian headline tour are Las Vegas sisters The Pretty Wild, bringing their unpredictable mix of metal, hard rock and electronics to Australian audiences for the very first time. Their audacious spirit creates an electrifying force that defies convention. The Pretty Wild captivates audiences hungry for something different, singing of disillusionment, the struggles of the industry, and the pursuit of authenticity beyond social constructs.

*'click."* collaborator RinRin also joins the bill. Fusing hyperpop with alt-pop, alt-metal and pop punk, the Filipino-born, Australian-based artist has carved out a lane entirely her own. Since emerging in 2020, RinRin has shared stages with The Plot In You, Scene Queen, Caskets, and The Home Team, while also joining Walk Off The Earth for a six-city arena tour across China.

Opening all shows except Perth are fellow Melburnians and Fearless Records labelmates DREGG. Known for their high-energy fusion of metal, hardcore and rap, their music, visuals, and over-the-top personas serve as a satirical lens on modern culture. Blending shock value with deeper commentary, DREGG encourages fans to embrace their inner weirdos and challenge societal norms through unapologetic self-expression.

*Live Nation Presents*
**BUFFALO TRAFFIC JAM
(USA)**
**Down Under Tour 2026**

**with Riley Pearce**

Live Nation has today announced Australia and New Zealand tour dates for breakout Montana folk duo **Buffalo Traffic Jam** this October/November, marking their first visit on the *Down Under Tour 2026**.*** Hot on the heels of a sold‑out US tour, they'll showcase their latest release *Take Me Home*, alongside earlier favourites that have collectively clocked over 8 million streams, fuelling a devoted and rapidly expanding fan base.

**The Live Nation presale starts **Thursday 30 April at 2pm**, concluding on **Friday 1 May at 2pm or until allocation is exhausted. To purchase presale tickets, sign up now at **livenation.com.au/register**

**General tickets go on sale on Friday 1 May at 3pm.**

With rich harmonies, stripped-down instrumentation, and vocals that make you feel; whether it's longing, joy, or that bittersweet in-between, Buffalo Traffic Jam creates songs that linger long after the last chord fades. Their music is as much about atmosphere as it is about melody, rooted in folk traditions but carried forward by a modern emotional edge.

**ABOUT BUFFALO TRAFFIC JAM:**
Buffalo Traffic Jam is a folk band born in the heart of Bozeman, Montana, where its members, Frankie Cassidy and Nathan Ross, first crossed paths as students at Montana State University. United by a love for storytelling and the raw beauty of acoustic sound, they began crafting music that evokes wide-open landscapes and the emotions that live quietly beneath the surface of everyday life. The result was a self-titled debut EP followed by singles “Rescue Me” and “Forgot Your Roots,” the latter of which saw the band gain their first online momentum, leading to explosive growth in the past 3 months.

Their newest release, the Take Me Home EP, marks a defining moment in Buffalo Traffic Jam's evolution — showcasing a deeper, more expansive sound while staying grounded in the heartfelt lyricism and raw instrumentals that first won them fans. The project weaves together themes of resilience, nostalgia, and self-discovery, subjects that have become commonplace in the songwriting of Buffalo Traffic Jam. Since its release on October 24, the EP has picked up over 8 million streams across DSP's.

This year Buffalo Traffic Jam made their festival debuts at Under the Big Sky and Redwest Fest and are currently on tour with country singer-songwriter Dylan Gossett. From dorm room jam sessions to packed venues across the US, Buffalo Traffic Jam has stayed true to their roots.

*HIGH NOTE TURNS 3*
**FEAT.
GILLES PETERSON**
**(UK)**
**+ MC ROB GALLIANO**

It's hard to believe we're already three turns around the sun.
Our mission has always been simple: supply the room and let the community do the rest. So rather than making this about us, our 3rd birthday is really a thank you to everyone who's been part of the journey so far.
To celebrate, we're opening up the whole precinct - High Note Bar, the Studio, the Event Space, and the Northcote Theatre - bringing together a massive crew of artists and collectives who have shaped our story from the start, along with special guests who share our same ethos.
NORTHCOTE THEATRE
Headlining the theatre, we're thrilled to welcome honorary Melburnian Gilles Peterson alongside long-time collaborator MC Rob Galliano for an exclusive 6-hour start-to-finish set. Broadcaster, crate-digger, and Brownswood Recordings head, Gilles has spent over four decades bridging underground jazz, club culture, and global sounds. A devoted champion of Naarm who celebrated our local scene with the landmark Sunny Side Up compilation, he returns to transform the theatre into a single, massive club room.
ACROSS THE PRECINCT
Throughout the day and night, we're handing room control over to the institutions that have been part of our journey. In the Event Space, Music In Exile presents live sets and selections from Alcides Neto, DJ Matab, Selena, Sisterdeep, and Rah b2b Langai. Over in the Studio, Skylab Radio holds down the decks with Marley Swain, Chuleo FM, Northside Records DJs, High Note Soundsystem, Karani b2b $ookylala, and Raphael Wall b2b Bonnita.
FOOD & DRINK
Day-to-night food and wine pop-up courtesy of the team at Bar Merenda, with drink support from Monkey Shoulder.
Start early in the bar, wander between rooms, and raise a glass with us to three years on the block.
