Heavy Congress Presents UK heavy weight soundsystem Iration Steppas.

It has been many years since Iration Steppas visited the land down under. The last time the Vanguard of Dub visited Australia, there were fewer that 10 sound systems across the country. This is an overdue return of Iration Steppas playing dub inna year 3000 style.

Iration Steppas Sound System is the foundation of the West Yorkshire underground bass music scene. Mark Iration and Dennis Rootikal met in the early 1990’s when sound system culture was changing and the music was evolving. This partnership led to the development of the most progressive style of reggae and dub, which has inspired a generation of new sound systems and dub producers such as O.B.F, King Alpha, Dubkasm and many more. Iration Steppas is heading back to Australia and New Zealand in October/ November 2026.

Mark (Iration Steppas) is an entertainer and provides an experience you will not find anywhere else and you will not want to miss.

Iration Steppas have built a proud discography with albums such as Original Dub D.A.T., Dubs from the High Regionz and Dub Arena - as well as many singles, and all are still bought in heavy numbers around the world.

Don’t miss this massive dance at Crowbar on Saturday the 24th of October 2026!

Some bands work their way up to Australia. Evening Elephants are arriving at full speed

The Los Angeles alt‑pop outfit, built out of backyard chaos and shaped into something that’s quietly taken over playlists and festivals alike, are making their Australian debut this November and December with their first‑ever headline run on Australian soil.

Fronted by Sam Boggs, Evening Elephants went from guerrilla pop-up shows in LA to viral NYC street takeovers without ever feeling like something manufactured. That rawness translated: over 80 million streams to date, with breakout single "Snow on The Bluff" surpassing 45 million of those alone and earning co-signs from Shaun White, Nina Dobrev, and Ana de Armas. EA Sports and the NFL came knocking for sync placements, the industry noticed too, but by then the audience was already there.

In 2026, Evening Elephants ushered in a new chapter with “Simple Things,” followed by “A Digital Touch,” which NPR praised as one of its “Best New Songs.” Their ascent continued with a standout Governors Ball performance that Rolling Stone called “one of the best moments from Gov Ball 2026.

Now, the band builds on that breakout year with its latest single, “Lazy Cries,” and momentum continues to build as the band gears up for the release of their debut album, Wholeheartedly, Terribly Sweet, arriving July 31st.

They’ve taken the new era to Electric Forest, Lollapalooza, and London Calling and now it's Australia's turn! Get your tickets before they disappear.

His band includes: Julieanne Crighton, Jeff Lang, Luke Davison, Christopher Dale, CJ Stranger, Adam Ventoura.

WILLIAM CRIGHTON BAND - COLONIAL DRIFT ENCORE SHOW

When future historians of music draw up a list of the movers and shakers who changed the modern musical landscape, there will be no doubt that Hugh Cornwell’s name will be prominent amongst them. As a pioneering musician, songwriter, and performer his pervasive influence persists in the record collections of music aficionados, across the globe’s radio waves and on stages around the world, Hugh’s presence is unquestionable.

As leader of The Stranglers, Hugh was the main songwriter of all the band’s most memorable songs across ten stellar albums all of whom consolidated Cornwell’s stature as a unique songwriter and musician. His lyrics to Golden Brown, from the La Folie album, and their multiple meanings, is a songwriting masterclass.

Widely regarded as the poet laureate of punk, Hugh Cornwell has also built a substantial and singular body of impressive solo albums. His tenth solo opus, Moments of Madness, continues his illustrious output by experimenting with musical genres as his enviable reputation as a wordsmith resounds across this album's songs.

All the Fun of the Fair was released in October 2024, a double live album full of magic, showcasing gems from Cornwell’s solo catalogue alongside Stranglers' classics, capturing the visceral ferocity of Hugh's live performance

“His solo work is a joy to listen to - great lyrics and wonderful guitars - and the Stranglers numbers stand the test of time, still sounding great after all these years.”

Handsome Tours and triple j are thrilled to welcome one of the UK’s most exciting breakthrough bands, Fat Dog, for their debut Australian tour this December!

Known for their undefinable, undeniable and truly raucous live shows, the South London band will arrive in Australia fresh from a truly mammoth UK/EU tour including End of The Road, Reeperbahn and Bearded Theory, alongside their largest ever shows supporting Kneecap and the Foo Fighters at 3 European arena dates last month. To put it simply, if you haven’t had the sweaty, chaotic pleasure of a Fat Dog live show yet, then you haven’t lived.

Fat Dog recently announced news of their second album Cancel Me (I’m Tired), due out on October 2nd via Domino. Over ten mind-bending and melodic tracks, it blends electro-pop anthems, cascading rave bangers, bombastic strings, cowboy-tinged pitstops and swirling psychedelia. Cancel Me (I’m Tired) possesses all the rabid frenzy and electrifying excitement of their debut but now delivered on a grand and glorious scale. Fat Dog are only just getting going.

Chasing Abbey’s career has spanned over 10 years, earning them awards, multiple platinum records, sold-out world tours and almost 1 million social media followers.

Formed after meeting in school, the trio from the heartlands of Ireland are known for their groundbreaking fusion of electronic production and Celtic influences, in particular Irish traditional music.

All in-house, Chasing Abbey write, record, produce and mix all of their own records; not only that, they also shoot and edit all of their videos, which are more like music videos than social media posts.

Their live show is just as much a spiritual awakening as it is a concert performance - soaring energy mixed with a message of unity and social justice drives home the feeling that this is not just a show, this is a movement.
