Over the past decade, Body Type have established themselves as one of Australia’s most acclaimed and compelling bands. Since forming in Sydney in 2016, they have released two celebrated albums, earned an Australian Music Prize nomination, toured extensively throughout Australia, Europe and the UK, and shared stages with Foo Fighters, Fontaines D.C., Pixies, Big Thief, Warpaint, Sleater-Kinney and Cate Le Bon.

Now, the four-piece return with Tally, their third album and most ambitious work to date. Marking the band’s tenth anniversary, Tally captures a group taking stock, embracing change and pushing their sound into bold new territory while retaining the wit, charm and sharp observations that have become their trademark.

Recorded in Los Angeles with acclaimed producer Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint, Courtney Barnett), Tally draws inspiration from a wide range of sources: the work of artist Louise Bourgeois, misty drives through the Hollywood Hills, 10 years of history as a band. This will be the second round of releases planned for the year – the double single GUARD DOG and MOVE DIRT AROUND. This October and November, Rowena Wise takes her full band on the road across Australia to support her sophomore album, Bad Things Feel Good*. The record is a tender, point-blank look at the pain of transformation and what it means to be flesh and blood — from Melbourne to Brisbane, Sydney to Hobart and beyond.

Written over two years of near-constant touring and recorded live over three days at The Ratshack in Collingwood with producer Rob Muinos (Julia Jacklin, Didirri), the album traces heartbreak, estrangement, and the knottier growing pains of adulthood through candid poetic lyricism and a raw live production. The songs hold space rather than demand attention, and live, they hit even harder.

Since debuting in 2018, she has amassed over 10 million streams, earned airplay across triple j, Double j and Unearthed, and toured extensively across Australia, the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada, supporting artists including Holy Holy, Ball Park Music, Bernard Fanning and Paul Dempsey. The Seven Ups celebrate the release of their sixth studio album, Flight, with a special launch show at The Bridge Hotel, Castlemaine. Blending psychedelic jazz, atmospheric funk, modal grooves and warm vintage synths, the Melbourne instrumental outfit stretches from hypnotic jams to expansive psychedelic soundscapes, balancing improvisation with tightly locked grooves.

Released through French label Nice Guys Records, Flight is the band's most ambitious record yet, weaving vintage synths, guitar led ambience and deep rhythmic grooves into a richly layered sound.

No-good Sydney noise merchants Party Dozen (Jonathan Boulet and Kirsty Tickle) are celebrating the release of their new album 21 Bum Salute with a handful of Australian shows.

Since 2024's Crime In Australia, the duo have honed their craft touring the US and Europe with Amyl & The Sniffers and locally with King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, as well as playing a career-highpoint slot at Meredith. Featuring singles "Mad Rooter", "Special Unit" and new one "Euro Stomper", 21 Bum Salute was written, recorded, performed, mixed and mastered by the group themselves and sees Party Dozen continue their exploration and evolution of psych-tinged noise, burst of doom and no-wave dancefloor.

The namesake of Queens DIY rocker Nat Brower, the live band features members of the Josephine Network, Dirty Fences, Hershguy Band, SUO, Nancy, and Mettalleg - the 4-piece band delivers a rock-and-roll showdown that is typically reserved for arena stages, namely when occupied by bands like Status Quo, Thin Lizzy, Cheap Trick, or the Beatles.

Joining them on the night will be Melbourne power-pop heroes The Prize.
