In a shock move, Melbourne indie band Crepes return to the stage for their first live show since the pandemic. After toiling away behind the scenes on some unfinished material, Crepes have decided to go public, performing songs new and old at The Tramway Hotel on Saturday, August 29th, with support from Parrot Fang, who’ll be playing their debut show.

Formed in 2009 as singer Tim Karmouche’s (The Murlocs, Mouche) bedroom project on a borrowed laptop, before growing into a full band with twins Nick and Pat Robbins and mainstays Jackson Dahlenburg and Sam Cooper, Crepes built a following with their scratchy and endearing 2015 EP Cold Summers and full-length albums Channel Four (2017) and In Cahoots (2018). After stepping away and scattering across the globe during the pandemic, the band remained close friends before recently deciding it was high time to dust off the tools and attend to unfinished business.
