"Antipodean swamp rock band FÄHM are travelling south for the first time ever. The Newcastle-based five-piece are coming to The Gem Bar on Saturday, October 17th - playing songs off their debut album Ä (out now through Hiss & Crackle Records).

What started as a recording project in the back of a record store has evolved into a fully-fledged band; an impressive live force featuring members of The Howlin’ Rats, Paper Thin, Huckleberry & The Devil’s Dandruff, The Outliers, and The Not Nots. FÄHM made their live debut at West Best Bloc Fest, with footage being used on NBN News. Since then, the band has played the iconic Gum Ball, and opened for the likes of Dust, Kim Salmon, and Bob Log III.

Joining them at The Gem Bar are local two-piece garage blues outfit The Cigarillos, and cowpunk partners-in-crime Crank Williams & Patsy Decline.
